Dr Grillz began in Perth in 2015 when founder Maheer Shah couldn’t find authentic gold grillz locally.
Inspired by the hip-hop culture and global craftsmanship, he connected with a renowned Houston-based grillz maker. Together, they brought high-quality, custom-made grillz to Australia, blending street style with personalised design.

Maheer Shah is the creative force behind Dr Grillz and a practising dentist based in Perth.
He combines his clinical background with a passion for hip-hop, art, and individuality. Every piece is carefully crafted to reflect your unique smile, style, and the statement you want to make.
